The procedure to reprioritise a category within an ASB case is as follows:
- Using the Advanced search spy-glass (
), select ASB Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case Reference as the search criteria
1.
- With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The ASB Case Details window is displayed.
- Click on Details. The Details tab is activated, with all category and type classification pairings for the ASB case captured in the Categories summary table.
- Highlight the row matching the category to be reprioritised
2.
- Click on Category Actions. The ASB Category Actions window is displayed.
- Using the Select action drop-down field, select the option Revise Category Priority.
- Click on Next. The Revise ASB Category Priority window is displayed, revealing the current priority weighting for the selected category.
- Using the New priority drop-down field, select an appropriate parameter value to reflect the revised priority for the ASB category e.g. Critical, High, Medium, Low, etc
3.
- Use the Priority notes field to add contextual data in support of the revised priority weighting.
- Click on Save. The category record reflects the revised priority weighting.
Note
1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start date range, category, company, status) to ensure that the correct ASB case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.
2 It is only permitted to revise a priority in the instance where the Priority override permitted configuration setting is activated within the category definition.
3 The priority weighting of an ASB category can be increased or decreased to match the circumstances of the incident.
