Applications outcome management overview

In essence, application outcome management can be thought of as the process for analysing the status of a match list from the perspective of an application, as opposed to a resource. On locating an applicant record held on the system, all events relating to their request for social housing or an associated service are contained within a dedicated 'Application' section. All potential matches identified for the application are displayed along with any formal offers made. In addition, any reviews conducted on the application to ensure that eligible applicant details are still accurate, specifically the validity of awarded priorities and needs, are also displayed, including supporting notifications generated as an output of each review. For instance, following the latest review, communications may be dispatched to all applicants confirming their relative position on the waiting list. Conversely, those applicants who have consistently refused a property offer could be advised that their application has been suspended for a defined period of time. The outcome and current status of all conducted reviews are held against the application, awaiting subsequent analysis. In tandem with the waiting list functionality, this holistic view of an application's status is an effective tool in responding to customer queries.
