To update the expiration of an information management consent outcome

The procedure to update the expiration of an information management consent outcome is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the contact relevant to the information management consent outcome 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Data Consent (contact summary 360 view) 2. The Data Consent tile is activated, revealing a list of all permission outcomes recorded against the contact in the Data Consent summary table.
  4. Double-click on the row containing the consent outcome entry against which the expiration date will be revised. The Update Contact Data Consent window is displayed, summarising each unique combination of data element classification pertinent to the captured outcome.
  5. Add, amend or remove the Effective to date for the consent outcome using the calendar icon (), or type in the value directly i.e. to control the period of validity 3.
  6. Click on Save. The applied change is reflected in the Data Consent summary table.


Note

1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for both first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 The availability and customisation of all Contact Summary 360 View tiles is controlled separately for each end user via their unique system profile.

3 The permitted date entry format is DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY.
