To remove a previous tenancy record from a home buy case

The procedure to remove a previous tenancy record from a home buy case is as follows:

  1. Using the Advanced search spy-glass (), select Home Buy Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case ID as the search criteria 1.
  2. With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The Home Buy Case Details window is displayed.
  3. Click on Previous Tenancies. The Previous Tenancies tab is activated, revealing a historical list of all tenancies linked to stakeholders in the current home buy case, as displayed in the Previous Tenancies summary table.
  4. Highlight the row matching the previous tenancy to be removed from the home buy case.
  5. Click on Remove Previous tenancy. The end user is asked to affirm deletion of the historical record before the entry is removed from the Previous Tenancies summary table 2.


Note

1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start and end date ranges, stage, company, status) to ensure that the correct home buy case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.

2 Any previous tenancy record deleted in error can simply be re-added.
