To remove a qualifying contact from a previous tenancy record in a home buy case

The procedure to remove a qualifying contact from a previous tenancy record in a home buy case is as follows:

  1. Using the Advanced search spy-glass (), select Home Buy Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case ID as the search criteria 1.
  2. With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The Home Buy Case Details window is displayed.
  3. Click on Previous Tenancies. The Previous Tenancies tab is activated, revealing a historical list of all tenancies linked to stakeholders in the current home buy case, as displayed in the Previous Tenancies summary table.
  4. Highlight the row matching the previous tenancy within which a qualifying contact is to be removed. The associated stakeholders are held in the Qualifying Contacts summary table; click on the expansion level pointer icon () to reveal the row detail.
  5. Highlight the row matching the qualifying contact to be removed from the previous tenancy record.
  6. Click on Remove Qualifying Contact. The end user is asked to affirm deletion of the stakeholder before the entry is removed from the Qualifying Contacts summary table 2.


Note

1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start and end date ranges, stage, company, status) to ensure that the correct home buy case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.

2 Any qualifying contact record deleted in error can simply be re-added.
