To add an additional priority to an application list membership

The procedure to add an additional priority to an application list membership is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the application contact 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Contact Details. The Contact Details window is displayed for the current contact.
  4. Click on Application. The Application tab is activated, revealing a list of all enquiries and applications associated with the contact in the Application summary table.
  5. Double-click on the row containing the specific application included on one or more allocation lists. The Application Reference window is displayed.
  6. Click on Lists. The Lists tab is activated, revealing a summary table containing all allocation lists on which the application is included.
  7. Highlight the row containing the specific list membership in which an additional priority will be added. All current priorities are displayed in the List Priority summary table.
  8. Click on New Priority. The New Priority window is displayed.
  9. Using the Priority Type drop-down field, select an appropriate category to filter the priority list e.g. Points or Awards.
  10. Using the Select Priority drop-down field, choose the priority to be added to the application list membership, filtered according to priority type. For a points based priority type, the number of points assigned to the priority is displayed 2.
  11. Choose an Effective from date for this additional priority i.e. the date on which it came into effect 3.
  12. Choose an Effective to date if the additional priority is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the newly-assigned priority will be continually valid.
  13. Click on Confirm. The additional priority is displayed in the List Priority summary table.
  14. Click on Save.


Note

1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 The number of points linked to the priority can only be amended if they are defined as discretionary i.e. the Points Override Permitted attribute is active for the selected priority record; the Up and Down arrows are available to increment or decrement the value, as required.

3 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
