The procedure to update the priority score for an application is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the application contact

- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Contact Details. The Contact Details window is displayed for the current contact.
- Click on Application. The Application tab is activated, revealing a list of all enquiries and applications associated with the contact in the Application summary table.
- Double-click on the row containing the specific application included on one or more allocation lists. The Application Reference window is displayed.
- Click on Lists. The Lists tab is activated, revealing a summary table containing all allocation lists on which the application is included.
- Highlight the row containing the specific list membership in which a priority score will be revised. All current priorities relevant to that list are displayed in the List Priority summary table.
- Double-click on the row containing the specific list priority score to be revised. The Update Priority window is displayed.
- Adjust the value entered in the Points field, as required, to reflect the desired priority score

- Amend the Effective from date for this revised priority score, as required i.e. the date on which it came into effect

- Amend the Effective to date for this revised priority score, as required i.e. to specify the valid duration; a blank field means the change will be continually valid.
- Click on Confirm. The revised priority points score is displayed in the List Priority summary table.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.
2 The number of points linked to the priority can only be amended if they are defined as discretionary i.e. the Points Override Permitted attribute is active for the selected priority record; the Up and Down arrows are available to increment or decrement the value, as required.
3 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
