Vehicle record maintenance overview

The fleet management components of Civica Cx Contractor bring together a wealth of metrics relating to those vehicles that are integral to the provision of housing-centric services. This holistic view of data helps to improve efficiencies in the tracking of MOT and road tax expiration dates, as well as to understand the spread of vehicle categories - small vans, trucks, crew vans, combination vans, etc. - that are available to fulfil on-site appointments, particularly around reactive and planned maintenance obligations. Driver accountability is also an important part of keeping the fleet operational and therefore any number of individual contractors - referred to as resources - can be linked to specific vehicle records; a driver with overall responsibility can also be denoted by the 'Primary Resource' attribute. Where additional classification identifiers are required, a series of custom reference types can be configured by the end user and ascribed systematically to particular vehicle records, as appropriate.
