To review an existing medical assessment record for an application

The procedure to review an existing medical assessment record for an application is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the application contact name 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Contact Details. The Contact Details window is displayed for the current contact.
  4. Click on Application. The Application tab is activated, revealing a list of all enquiries and applications associated with the contact in the Application summary table 1.
  5. Double-click on the row containing the specific application linked to a medical assessment. The Application Reference window is displayed.
  6. Click on Medical. The Medical tab is activated, revealing all Medical Assessments associated with the application in the corresponding summary table.
  7. Highlight the row containing the specific medical assessment to be reviewed.
  8. Click on Review Assessment. The Medical Assessment window is displayed, revealing the unique Reference number and Contact name pertinent to the assessment record.
  9. Using the Assessment type drop-down field, select the classification of medical assessment review to be conducted e.g. General Health Check, Mobility Evaluation, etc.
  10. Using the Assessor drop-down field, select the name of the practitioner assigned to conduct the medical assessment review.
  11. Use the Assessor detail field to add contextual information relating to the reviewing practitioner e.g. area of expertise, medical jurisdiction, etc.
  12. Enter the Assessment complete date using the calendar icon (), or type in the value directly i.e. the date on which the medical assessment review was completed 2.
  13. Using the Outcome drop-down field, select the follow-up action resulting from the medical assessment review i.e. No update required or Update required.
  14. Use the Outcome details field to add contextual information describing the conclusions drawn from the medical assessment review; the expansion arrow () can be employed to increase the size of the text entry field.
  15. Enter the Application updated date using the calendar icon (), or type in the value directly i.e. the date on which all follow-up actions were reflected within the application detail 3.
  16. Click on Save. The review is displayed in the Medical Assessments summary table, cross-referenced with the original assessment record.


Tip

1 Use the Left () and Right () scrolling arrows to reveal additional tabs that might be hidden from view.

Note

1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 The permitted date entry format is DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY.

3 This option is only activated in the instance where the medical assessment review outcome has been set to Update required.
