The procedure to delete an asbestos register entry from an asset is as follows:

1. The Asbestos tab is activated, revealing a list of all potentially hazardous materials identified through a management or refurbishment survey, as displayed in the Asbestos summary table.
) and highlight the row matching the asbestos register entry to be removed from the asset record.
2. The end user is asked to affirm the operation before the selected entry is removed from the Asbestos summary table

1 Use the Left (
) and Right (
) scrolling arrows to reveal additional tabs that might be hidden from view.
Note
1 The search facility will return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.
2 This option is only valid in circumstances where the entry has been recorded in error. Where all recommendations of a risk assessment have been carried out, the asbestos registry entry should be retained for historical reference purposes.
3 Any asbestos register entry deleted in error can simply be re-added.
