To analyse the review status of all asbestos register entries

The procedure to analyse the review status of all asbestos register entries is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Home (), if not already active. The default Home panes are displayed.
  2. Click on Asbestos Review 1. The Asbestos Review pane is in focus, revealing a list of all potentially hazardous materials, identified across the housing stock through a management or refurbishment survey, where the assigned review date is within the target period 2. Use the refresh icon () to include newly-added asbestos registry entries, or those where the review date has been recently updated.
  3. Click on Expand to increase the size of the pane up to the full viewing area, as required 3. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below 4.


Note

1 The default Home panes are configured at user account level.

2 The projected review period used to compile the subset of asbestos register entries is governed by the system preference Asbestos home pane look ahead days.

3 To revert the pane back to the original size click on Collapse.

4 A subset of fields are visible by default; additional fields can be revealed or hidden via the Menu option.


Field

Description

Asset Reference

The unique identification number for the asset in which the asbestos material was discovered.

Address

The full address of the asset in which the asbestos material was discovered.

Location

A concatenated location field (comprising the Level, Room and Location elements recorded as part of the register entry), pinpointing the specific area in which the asbestos material was discovered.

Asbestos Review Date

The next scheduled review date for the asbestos register entry.

Risk

The perceived severity of the asbestos material and the expected level of exposure, as identified through the management or refurbishment survey.
