The procedure to define a stock condition attribute for an asset is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the asset address

- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Asset Details. The Asset Details window is displayed for the current asset.
- Click on Stock Condition
1. The Stock Condition tab is activated.
- Click on New Attribute. The New Attribute window is displayed.
- Using the Component drop-down field, select a parameter value to capture the stock condition focus area e.g. Roof Structure, External Wall Covering, etc.
- Using the Attribute drop-down field, select a parameter value to characterise the distinguishing feature of the stock condition component.
- Enter the Install date using the calendar icon (
) or type in the value directly i.e. the date on which the stock condition attribute was installed

- Using the Surveyor drop-down field, select the professional consultant who examined the stock condition attribute.
- Enter the Survey date using the calendar icon (
) or type in the value directly i.e. the date on which the stock condition survey was conducted, covering the selected attribute.
- Click on Save. The new attribute entry is displayed in the Stock Condition summary table, within the hierarchical repair element structure.
Tip
1 Use the Left (
) and Right (
) scrolling arrows to reveal additional tabs that might be hidden from view.
Note
1 The search facility will return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.
2 The permitted date entry format is DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY.
