The procedure to amend the allocated band for an application is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the application contact

- Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Contact Details. The Contact Details window is displayed for the current contact.
- Click on Application. The Application tab is activated, revealing a list of all enquiries and applications associated with the contact in the Application summary table.
- Double-click on the row containing the specific application included on one or more allocation lists. The Application Reference window is displayed.
- Click on Lists. The Lists tab is activated, revealing a summary table containing all allocation lists associated with the application.
- Highlight the row containing the specific list membership in which the allocated band will be revised.
- Click on Change Band
2. The Change Priority Band window is displayed, revealing the current banding of the application.
- Using the New Band drop-down field, select the alternative band to which the application will be assigned e.g. Gold, Silver, Bronze, etc.
- Using the Override reason drop-down field, select a parameter value to qualify the circumstances surrounding the change of band

- Choose an Effective from date for this change of band i.e. the date on which it came into effect

- Choose an Effective to date if the application's band category is to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the newly-assigned band will be continually valid.
- Click on Confirm. The change of band is reflected in the List Membership summary table.
- Click on Save

Note
1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.
2 This option is only available in the instance where the selected allocations list is configured with the Allow Band Override attribute.
3 These custom values can be populated by the end user via the system parameter entitled Application Band Override Reasons.
4 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
5 A change of band is commonly applied in conjunction with the band rank date in order to ensure that applicants who have been in the band for the longest period of time are processed first.
