To amend a rate on a PSL account

The procedure to amend a rate on a PSL account is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of either the responsible contact for the PSL agreement or the privately owned asset address 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Agreements (contact summary 360 view) or History (for an asset) 2. The Agreements tile (or History tab) is activated, revealing a list of all agreements associated with the contact (or asset) in the Agreements (or Rent) summary table.
  4. Double-click on the specific PSL agreement within which the account fee will be amended. The Agreement Details window is displayed.
  5. Click on Rates. The Rates tab is activated.
  6. Double-click on the row in the Agreement Rates summary table matching the rate element to be amended 3. The Update Rate window is displayed, revealing all components of the consolidated fee in the Rate Elements summary table.
  7. Highlight the row matching the rate element to be amended.
  8. Amend the Next review date for this rate element, as required, using the calendar icon (), or type in the value directly (format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY) i.e. the date on which the next review of the fee is scheduled.
  9. Adjust the Element value of the rate, as required, in the field provided.
  10. Using the VAT drop-down field, ensure that the selected parameter value is still valid for this rate element and apply any required change.
  11. Click on Update Rate. The proposed amendments to the element are displayed in the Rate Elements summary table.
  12. Repeat steps 7 through 11 to amend further elements of the consolidated rate.
  13. Click on Save. The applied rate amendments are displayed in the Agreement Rates summary table 4.
  14. Click on Save.


Note

1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.; it will likewise return all possible matches for any corresponding address field.

2 The availability and customisation of all Contact Summary 360 View tiles is controlled separately for each end user via their unique system profile.

3 This action can only be applied to agreement-specific rates.

4 Amendments to the Value or VAT fields will result in a new rate being added to the Agreement Rates summary table; the previous charge will be discontinued, with the Effective to date automatically populated to coincide with the start of the new record.
