The procedure to add an exception day calendar entry is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Calendars. The Calendar Details window is displayed.
- Select a calendar from the alphabetical list or type its name into the Search Calendar Name field. By default the list is filtered to show Current calendars. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations

- Click on Non Working Days. The Non Working Days tab is activated.
- Click on New Exception Day. The Select Exception Dates window is displayed.
- Enter the Date of the exception day using the calendar icon (
), or type in the value directly

- Enter the Description of the exception day into the field provided e.g. Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, etc.

- Enter the Start time and End time for the exception day using the clock icon (
), or type in the values directly

- Using the Repeat drop-down field, select a parameter value to reflect the frequency of the exception day i.e. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly or Never.
- Click on Save. The new exception days are displayed in the Exception Days summary table.
Note
1 The Search Calendar Name field will match against any element of the calendar name.
2 The permitted date entry format is DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY.
3 An exception day can include any single date of unavailability outside of public and bank holidays.
4 The permitted time entry format is HH:MM.
