To view the task path timeline for a housing option workflow

The procedure to view the task path timeline for a housing option workflow is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Housing Options > Configuration > Housing Options Type. The Housing Options Type Configuration window is displayed.
  2. Select a housing option workflow from the alphabetical list or enter its name into the Search Housing Options Type field. By default the list is filtered to show Current types. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Automatic Tasks. The Automatic Tasks tab is activated, revealing a breakdown of all tasks linked to the housing option workflow in graphical timeline form.
  4. Use the Expand Timeline () and Contract Timeline () icons to control the scale of the chart; use the Left () and Right () scrolling arrows to navigate between adjacent events along the timeline.
  5. Alternatively, click on Switch View. All automatic tasks linked to the housing option workflow are displayed in the Automatic Tasks summary table 1. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below 2.
  6. Click on Close.


Tip

1 By default, all tasks are sorted first by their effective date and then alphabetically; to aid the selection process, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.

Note

1 The Search Housing Options Type field will match against any element of the workflow description.

2 To return to the default view, with all housing option workflow tasks displayed in graphical form, click on Switch View a second time.

An explanation of the housing options task to be conducted within the workflow.

SLA Period

The combined period and unit multiplier for the task e.g. 2 weeks, 5 days, etc.

Predecessor Tasks

The dependency links to the prerequisite tasks.

Lag

The elapsed period controlling the delayed start time relative to the predecessor tasks.

Mandatory

This denotes the compulsory status of a task.

Effective From

The date on which the task's inclusion within the housing option workflow path came into effect.

Effective To

The task's last date of inclusion within the workflow path.
