To view the campaign communications sent to a contact

The procedure to view the campaign communications sent to a contact is as follows:

  1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the contact to whom campaign communications have been dispatched 1.
  2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
  3. Click on Campaigns (contact summary 360 view) 2. The Campaigns tile is activated, revealing a list of all campaigns associated with the contact in the Campaigns summary table.
  4. Highlight the row matching the campaign from which one or more associated contact communications will be analysed.
  5. Click on View Communications. The Campaign Communications window is displayed, revealing all communications dispatched to the contact as part of the campaign programme 3. Certain fields are worthy of special note and are captured in the table below 1.
  6. Click on Close.


Field

Description

Communication

This is the unique name assigned to the campaign communication, as recorded in the associated Communication Definition.

Method

The output channel used for the campaign communication e.g. Letter, Email or SMS.

Date Generated

The date on which the campaign communication was dispatched to the contact.

Status

The current status of the campaign communication e.g. Pending, Successful, Failed, Cancelled, In Progress or Downloaded to PDF.

Type

The generation method used for the campaign communication: Automated, Bulk or Ad hoc.

Queue

The destination queue for the campaign communication e.g. a network printer or PDF output.


Tip

1 By default, all communications are displayed in chronological order i.e. the date on which they were generated; to aid analysis, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.

Note

1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for a contact's first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 The availability and customisation of all Contact Summary 360 View tiles is controlled separately for each end user via their unique system profile.

3 Use the summary table Menu option to hide or reveal additional columns of information; apply the standard 'drag and drop' technique to reposition columns into a different order.
