To remove component items from an equipment system type

The procedure to remove component items from an equipment system type is as follows:

1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Equipment > Configuration > Configure System Types. The Configure System Types window is displayed.
2. Select an equipment system type from the alphabetical list, or enter its name into the Search for System Types field. By default the list is filtered to show Current equipment system types. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All 1.
3. With the desired equipment system type in current focus, all associated component items are displayed in the Equipment Types summary table.
4. Activate the Select tick box against each component item to be removed from the equipment system type.
5. Click on Remove Equipment Type. The selected items are cleared from the Equipment Types grid 2.

Note

1 The Search for System Types field will match against any element of the equipment system description.

2 Any equipment item removed in error can simply be re-added.
