To remove an individual asset from an ongoing planned works programme

The procedure to remove an individual asset from an ongoing planned works programme is as follows:

1. Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the asset address 1.
2. Double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon ().
3. Click on Asset Details. The Asset Details window is displayed for the current asset.
4. Click on Planned Programs 1. The Planned Programs tab is activated, revealing a list of all housing stock upgrades and refurbishment programmes to which the asset is linked, as displayed in the Planned Programs summary table 2.
5. Highlight the row matching the planned works programme from which the asset is to be removed.
6. Click on Remove From Program. The Remove Asset From Program window is displayed, confirming the name of the selected planned works programme.
7. Using the Reason for removal drop-down field, select a parameter value to qualify the circumstances surrounding the removal of the selected asset from the planned works programme.
8. Use the Comment field to add contextual information in support of the asset record being removed from the planned works programme.
9. Click on Save. The planned works programme status for the asset is set to Cancelled 2.

Tip

1 Use the Left () and Right () scrolling arrows to reveal additional tabs that might be hidden from view.

2 By default, all planned works programmes are displayed alphabetically, by name; to aid analysis, rows can be reordered by clicking on any of the available headings.

Note

1 The search facility will return all possible matches for any corresponding address field once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.

2 Where a works order has already been generated for the asset as part of the housing stock upgrade and refurbishment programme, the end user is asked to affirm cancellation of the order.
