To add a task to a feedback stage

The procedure to add a task to a feedback stage is as follows:

  1. Navigate to Quick Menu > Feedback > Configuration > Feedback Stage Type. The Feedback Stage Type Configuration window is displayed.
  2. Expand a feedback type heading and select an associated stage from the alphabetical list, or enter its name into the Search Stage Types field. By default the list is filtered to show Current stage types. An alternative filter can be applied using the Select view drop-down field: Expired, Future or All combinations 1.
  3. Click on Available Tasks. The Available Tasks tab is activated.
  4. Click on New Task. The New Feedback Stage Type Task window is displayed.
  5. Enter a task description into the dynamic search field provided 2. All possible matches are returned in the summary table 3.
  6. Highlight the desired task from the filtered results list.
  7. Choose an Effective from date for this record i.e. the date on which the linked task came into effect for this feedback stage 4.
  8. Choose an Effective to date if the link needs to be reviewed on a specific date or to capture a change of circumstances; a blank field means the link will never expire.
  9. Click on Confirm. The linked task is displayed in the Available Tasks summary table.
  10. Repeats steps 4 through 9 to add further tasks to the feedback stage.
  11. Click on Save 5.


Note

1 The Search Stage Types field will match against any element of the feedback stage description.

2 The field will operate as a dynamic search function and match against any element of the task description based on the successive characters entered.

3 Only tasks relevant to those companies linked to the feedback stage will be displayed.

4 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.

5 To amend the details of a linked task, double-click on the desired row in the Available Tasks summary table and repeat steps 7 through 9; to remove the assigned task, change the Effective to date to be in the past.
