To reassign ownership of a housing options task

The procedure to reassign ownership of a housing options task is as follows:

  1. Using the Advanced search spy-glass (), select Housing Options Case as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Case ID as the search criteria 1.
  2. With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The Housing Options Case Details window is displayed.
  3. Click on Tasks. The Tasks tab is activated, revealing all tasks linked to the housing options case as a series of cards, subdivided by progression status: Pending, Open, Complete and On Hold.
  4. Highlight the specific card matching the task to be reassigned to an alternative owner.
  5. Click on Reassign Task. The Task Assignment window is displayed, revealing the individual user to which the housing options task is currently assigned.
  6. Using the New owner drop-down field, select the desired user account to which the housing options task will be reassigned.
  7. Using the Reassignment reason drop-down field, select a parameter value to qualify the circumstances surrounding the change of housing options task owner.
  8. Use the Reassignment notes field to add contextual data in support of the change of housing options task owner.
  9. Click on Save. The new housing options task owner is verified by clicking on the task card, revealing the Assigned to field.


Note

1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start and end date ranges, company, status) to ensure that the correct housing options case is returned; an alternative Search by category of Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.
