The procedure to place an ASB task on hold is as follows:
- Using the Advanced search spy-glass (
), select ASB Task as the Search for and Search by category, and enter the Task ID as the search criteria
1.
- With the Results tab in current focus, double-click on the row containing the exact record match, or return to the Criteria tab and refine the search filters. The ASB Task Details window is displayed.
- Click on Hold Task
2. The Hold ASB Task window is displayed.
- Using the Hold reason drop-down field, select a parameter value to qualify the circumstances surrounding the ASB task being placed on hold.
- Use the Notes field to add contextual data in support of the ASB task being placed on hold.
- Enter the planned Release date for the ASB task using the calendar icon (
) or type in the value directly; a time may also be specified using the clock icon (
)
3.
- Click on Save. Where the task definition is linked to multiple contacts within the same ASB case (complainants or perpetrators), the user is asked to affirm whether the status progression change should apply to This Contact Only or All Contacts; click on Save
4.
- Alternatively, where the task definition is linked to multiple categories and contacts within the same ASB case, the user is asked to affirm whether the status progression change should apply to This Category Only or All Categories, as well as This Contact Only or All Contacts; select the appropriate options using the respective Categories and Contacts drop-down fields and click on Save.
- With the ASB Task Details window displayed, the current status of the ASB task reflects the change; the SLA amber warning and target completion dates are also extended to take account of the scheduled 'on hold' period
5.
Note
1 Additional search criteria may need to be employed (e.g. start and end date ranges, category, company, status) to ensure that the correct ASB task is returned; an alternative Search by category of ASB Case, Contact or Contact Group may be selected to extend the available search fields.
2 This option is active only for ASB tasks that are currently in progress.
3 The selected date must be in the future and entered in the format DD/MM/YY or DD/MM/YYYY; the permitted time format is HH:MM.
4 A task's relevance to complainants and perpetrators is configured within the associated definition file.
5 Any related tasks that have been placed on hold as a consequence of the user's affirmations will reflect the same status progression.
