For each type of equipment, a comprehensive breakdown of manufacturer-led maintenance tasks and safety checks can be captured using Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes, ensuring the accountable, auditable, and transparent undertaking of all servicing requirements.
The procedure to map a SOR task to an equipment type is as follows:

Note
1 The Search for Equipment field will match against any focus area included within the hierarchical equipment structure.
2 The field will operate as a dynamic search function and match against the SOR code or any element of the SOR description.
3 Only SOR codes contained within the linked SOR table are available for selection.
4 In the same way, use the Remove option in conjunction with the associated tick box field to transfer the SOR code entry out of the right ('required') pane.
5 System validation rules ensure that this button is only activated in the instance where a single SOR code has been nominated for inclusion within the equipment type cost breakdown.
6 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
