To export a planned works order summary to MS Excel

The procedure to export a planned works order summary to MS Excel is as follows:

  1. Prerequisite procedural steps are covered separately in the topic To generate bulk orders for a planned works programme. Refer to these before proceeding to step 2.
  2. With the Create Works Orders - Complete window displayed, click on Export To Excel. The export report is compiled in MS Excel format and assigned the default file name CreateWorksOrderResult 1.
  3. Click on Save to store the file in the default Windows Downloads folder; click on Save As to choose an alternative location. The content of the file is summarised in the table below.


Note

1 Where a file of the same name already exists in the destination folder, the new export report will be annotated with an incremental suffix counter.

Description

Planned Program Asset

The full address of each asset included in the works order generation process.

Works Order Reference

The system-generated unique reference number assigned to each individual asset works order.

Error

The root cause of any failure encountered during the generation of each individual asset works order.
