Energy assessors are required to follow a standardised procedure in determining the energy efficiency of a domestic / residential building, and Government-approved organisations such as Elmhurst Energy work to provide training, accreditation, software solutions and support for their energy assessors, enabling them to provide the appropriate assessment service.
The procedure to assign assessor accreditation details to a contact record is as follows:
- Using the global search facility, type in the first few characters of the contact

- With the results displayed in the Contact tab, double-click on the row containing the exact record match. Where the expected record is not listed, a more advanced search can be conducted using the spy-glass icon (
).
- Click on Contact Details. The Contact Details window is displayed for the current contact.
- Click on Accreditation Details. The Accreditation Details tab is activated.
- Enter the Elmhurst Accreditation Number into the field provided i.e. the certification reference for the assessor.
- Enter the Elmhurst Password and Elmhurst Corporate Account credentials into the fields provided i.e. those matching the assessor's registration details.
- Click on Validate Accreditation Details. Through reciprocal web services, the supplied details are corroborated against the official records held by the accreditation body; once complete, successful authentication is confirmed through end user messaging and the Valid tick box is automatically activated.
- Click on Save.
Note
1 The search facility will automatically return all possible matches for both first name and last name once the Number of characters before an automatic search commences system preference is reached.
