The procedure to add question sets to a satisfaction survey is as follows:
- Navigate to Quick Menu > System > Configuration > Satisfaction Surveys. The Satisfaction Survey Details window is displayed.
- Type the first few characters of the satisfaction survey name into the Search Satisfaction Survey field provided, or expand the module headings to reveal the linked satisfaction surveys. Select the desired satisfaction survey from the filtered list

- Click on New Detail. The Survey Details window is displayed.
- Enter a Caption for the question into the field provided e.g. How likely are you to recommend our service to others?.
- Using the Data type field, select a parameter value that matches the required question response type - Date Only, Date Time, Decimal, Integer, Lookup, Text, Time Only, True or False. The corresponding criteria fields are activated.
- Enter the required data type criteria, range or user defined table to control the question response type

- Using the Display order field, enter a numeric value to specify the position of the question within the satisfaction survey

- For questions where the response is Mandatory, activate the tick box provided.
- Using the Parent details drop-down field, select a section heading question, as required, to form a hierarchical structure

- Use the Mandatory if parent true and Mandatory if parent false tick boxes to control the display of required responses for inter-related questions

- Choose an Effective from date for this satisfaction survey question i.e. the date on which it came into effect

- Choose an Effective to date if the satisfaction survey question is to be time bound; a blank field means the survey question will never expire.
- Click on Save.
- To add further questions repeat steps 3 through 13.
Note
1 The Search Satisfaction Survey field will match against any element of the description.
2 No additional criteria is required for data types Date Only, Date Time, Time Only and True or False.
3 Where no Display order value is recorded, the questions will be displayed in their order of entry.
4 At least one question must exist for the Parent details drop-down field to be active and only questions of data type True or False are available for selection.
5 The display of linked sub-questions can be controlled entirely by the response to the parent question.
6 The Effective from date defaults to the current system date and cannot be left blank.
