Service charge template maintenance overview

The constituent elements required to implement service charges within Civica Cx Housing - Cost Centres, Functional Units and Groups - can be derived automatically through the creation of one or more Service Charge Templates, specifying standard descriptors and constraints that are then replicated across all resulting components. Referred to as a Service Charge Scheme, the Cost Centre, Group and Functional Unit combinations generated from an individual template will form the basis on which service charges are calculated and apportioned.

All contributory factors are brought together in the Service Charge Templates form, capturing the relevant Company, Calendar, Consultation Rule (where applicable), Apportionment Rule and Applicable Asset Classifications to define the scheme characteristics, as well as the combined Administration Rules used to calculate the appropriate management fees.
